Full Moon in Capricorn

Yesterday I wrote a bit about how the Full Moon in Capricorn provides us with an opportunity to overcome bad/stressed/frustrated feelings in order to accomplish our goals.

As with all divination, the Capricorn Moon is less about what is GOING to happen to you and more about creating opportunities for you to notice and work through some of the issues it represents.

To remove the blocks and obstacles we often need to return to the body.

One of the most important things you can do to improve your happiness-level is to remove waste from your system. When we remove the waste, the blockages, the things that get in our way, we make “good space” (or Sukha in Sanskrit) inside ourselves allowing for an easy flow of energy.

Prana is the Sanskrit word for life force. Life force energy usually comes into the human body through “the top.” We take in food, air, and water from our heads, and excrete our waste through our root in a process known in yoga as “apana.”

Pranayama breathing is a technique for consciously activating the life force, circulating the life force in and out through the top, in order to accelerate the clearing process. Our natural state is happiness and wellbeing. Clear the blocks, get happy. Et voila.

Simple exercise… stop what you’re doing now and breathe slowly, inhaling for six counts and exhaling for six counts, for sixty seconds and see what changes.
